Tasting Notes

Nonnenberg

1994 - Nonnenberg Riesling
Beautiful aged nose, smoky, spicy slate, honey, nuts, exotic elements, also banana and lychee. On the palate, elegant acidity, complex with many layers including great spicy minerality, fruit notes of apples, peach and citrus, nice herbal, spicy finish. This baby has lots of more potential and can last 20 more years.

Berg Schlossberg

2009 - Berg Schlossberg Riesling Auslese
Honey, caramel, pepper, dried exotic fruits and ripe stone fruits, orange zest in the nose mixed with great minerality. On the palate nice acidity that balances the fruit, powerful spicy minerality, embedded in lots of honey and caramel. Finishes long with spices, honey and dried fruits.

2008 - Berg Schlossberg Riesling GG
The Georg Breuer Berg Schlossberg 2008 (which was a cooler vintage) is in so much harmony right now. Still young and fresh, perfectly balanced with great minerality, super mouthwatering acidity, elegant and long. So good. One of the best Rieslings we ever had.

Berg Rottland

1991 - Berg Rottland Riesling Beerenauslese
So beautifully aged in the nose with raisins, caramel, licorice and honey, on the palate smooth with nice acidity, lots of dried fruits and a wicked caramel finish.

Terra Montosa

2016 - Terra Montosa
The #terramontosa #riesling #cuvee combines the best from the four great #vinyards of @weingut_georg_breuer #georgbreuer... And it comes for only 20 Euros. The perfect summer wine with a fresh nose and super juicy palate.

Others

2016 - Estate Rüdesheim
The Rüdesheim Estate comes with slate minerality, citrus, green apple, very juicy and good spiciness.

2016 - Estate Rauenthal
The Rauenthal is more on the loam and loess minerality side with yellow fruit notes and unripe pineapple.
